London is COLD
Posted on December 21st, 2006 in Personal | No Comments »
Yes people say that but until you have to spend every morning pouring hot water on your windshield to get the Frost of they don’t TRULY understand. This place is freezing and given that I get cold at 70 degrees it’s killing me. So far I’ve worked in my Aunt’s new Restaurant every day this week. While it gets boring I guess it’s good experience and I definitely like talking to new people. My Mom and Dad are already complaining that i will be leaving too soon (I was only here for a little more than a week) but I’m glad I got a chance to see them and hang out with my cousins. I’ll go into more detail about my trip but i’m being rushed out the door. Enjoy a few pictures:
The place is a lot cooler than expected. Okay I’m ghost.
I Lose

The entire last week I was on the brink of being sick but I thought I was going to be able to fight it off. Sean had the faucet runny nose of death, Richard had the plague, and the girl that works right next to me had Bronchitis but I was still OK. Two days ago I lost
Oh well. It’s been really busy again this week. My kids and I had been working hard all week in preparation for the Annual Holiday Sales Bazaar that BUILD has every year. I wanted them to do well so I made sure to meet with them as often as I could. Wednesday night we made all the cookies (I taught them how to melt chocolate properly which is kind of scary) and on Thursday I helped them buy all their materials. It ended up being a huge success. They sold out of everything! I was like a proud parent:

I’m off to London next Friday to see Mom, Aunt and cousins. I’ll blog when I get there.
Busy Week

This week has been insanely busy at work. I’ve had to spend more time looking at a terminal screen than I’d care to write about, but I’m learning a lot so I guess that’s good. Sean flew in on Wednesday to visit so it’s been awesome having him around. Friday night is the Google Holiday party and Saturday I’m going to Brittany’s Holiday party. Should be fun! I’ll post pictures soon.
As a side note: Recently I bought a new TV (see below) and a new bed. My friends have been saying “Oh wow, Prakash is a big baller now spending all this money!” PLEASE. The bed I had before my new one I got summer first year of college as a hand-me-down from a friend’s ex-girlfriend for $200. My TV (which was nick named the Beach Ball because of it’s size and shape) I’ve had since sophomore year of high school. Trust me I get the maximum mileage out of my accessories
